Join us for a webinar with our Program Support Coordinators (PSC) from Palestine, Iraqi Kurdistan, Colombia, Turtle Island Solidarity Network, and Aegean Migrant Solidarity, who will discuss the work and experience of the teams over the past year and expectations for the year ahead.
We will discuss the teams’ recent work alongside the Kurdish struggle for the cessation of Turkish bombings and freedom of expression; and the strategies employed by the team in Palestine during the recent months of intensive lockdowns. We’ll be exploring, why despite the 2016 peace agreement in Colombia, 120 human rights defenders were assassinated in 2020. Our coordinator on Turtle Island will share about CPT’s partnership in the indigenous struggle of decolonization for fishing, land, and water rights. We’ll hear from the Aegean Migrant Solidarity team on how the Greek court system is condemning asylum-seekers.
Join us to explore our work, our learnings, and what we would like to see change. Join us to learn how you can also be involved in the struggle against oppression and injustice.
